In order to keep the body in balance, it is well known that healthy eating and nutrition are extremely important. Our diet should provide adequate levels of basic nutrients however, reduced absorption, increased nutrient demand and lack of nutritious food can have negative effects on health.
Chronic stress, altered stomach pH, digestive inflammation, allergies, diarrhea, constipation, gas and bloating can all contribute to the reduced absorption we are seeing in the North American diet.
Increased demand results from chronic stress, athletics, pregnancy, travel, infections, chronic illnesses and insomnia.

Acupuncture is a safe and effective treatment for a variety of illnesses. By inserting extremely fine, sterile needles into specific points, it promotes natural healing by restoring balance to the body. It may be used to manage pain, enhance immunity, support physical and emotional health, and improve overall function and well-being. Not only does it stimulate the release of the body’s own natural pain killers, it also influences the release of molecules associated with healing and disease regulation.
Acupuncture aims to provide symptom relief and also evaluate the overall health of an individual to address the root cause of illness. This helps restore vitality, balance and overall health. Acupuncture is a safe, gentle and effective way to treat a wide variety of health problems including but not limited to;
· Pain management
· Hormonal imbalance
· Digestive issues/ condition
· Balancing energy

Frequency may vary based on condition and maintenance sessions monthly may also be recommended. If you have any questions or concerns,
Cosmetic acupuncture is a safe and natural way to effectively improve skin tone, elasticity, reduce the appearance of fine lines and improve complexion. This treatment involves the insertion of fine needles into the face and body. This process increases blood flow to the face, helps to shed dead skin cells and can stimulate your body’s own production of collagen. The needles stimulate the flow of energy (Qi) to the face and body which can help reduce the tension of facial muscles and improve overall health. This process increases oxygenation levels through microcirculation which aids in detoxification and reduces facial puffiness. In addition to the facial benefits, points may also be added to address headaches, anxiety, stress, and mood and many more concerns that may be affecting your skin. When it comes to skin – facial acupuncture can be used to treat dry skin, acne, scarring, rosacea, dark spots and wrinkles.
