Just come as you are! We will make sure to prep you with a good shampoo scrub and soothing conditioning massage to start your appointment out right! Don’t worry about pre-washing – nobody has time for that and we are not judging ;)
Before your appointment:
Please wash and blowdry your hair as smooth as possible prior to your appointment. Coming with clean, smooth hair will ensure the most efficient use of the booked time for your appointment. We use Kevin Murphy color which has the best multi-tonal, ample coverage results on clean dry hair. If blonding, the same effort is required as it gives the stylist the best view of your hair and can make your appointment more efficient if the hair isn’t curled or matted up. (If it's relatively smoothed out, and washed a day or two prior to your appointment, that is fine).
***PLEASE NOTE If your blonding service is a bleach retouch (lightner on the scalp) DO NOT wash your hair the same day. You want a sebum barrier that hasn’t been washed away to protect your scalp from being too sensitive. Confused? No prob! Please contact us for any questions!
Aftercare:
It is best to refrain from washing your hair 24-48 hours post appointment. And hey - waiting a few days in between washes is always better for your hair anyhow! You want the cuticle to close and seal in that fresh color for it to last! A few other things you should avoid are too much sun (I’m sure you have a cute hat), chlorine (this chemical can affect your color drastically – especially after opening your cuticle! It will suck in unwanted tones!) and high heat styling tools (don’t fry your hair like you would fry a chicken! It will sizzle that color right out!) Always use professional shampoos, conditioners and styling products. You invest a lot of money into your hair at your appointment, so you want to protect that investment with the right after care to extend your in salon service. Check our website for some of our favorite products or ask any of our crew who are happy to suggest what would work best for your needs.
Before your appointment:
You know best, one day old hair can be best to hold. However, when in doubt we ask to come with freshly washed, dry hair. We can always add products to gritty you up! If you are looking for curls or a textured upstyle, do not flat iron your hair smooth prior to coming in. We can tame any unruly hair, but you can’t expect to have your hair hold a shape or curl if it has been smoothed out prior. And why create any more work for yourself than needed? Leave it to us!
Before your appointment:
Please come with a clean, makeup free face. This will ensure efficient timing for your service while priming you for your best results.
Aftercare:
Invest in a soap free cleanser. Only use oil free products around the eye and on the lashes. Try to sleep on your back as squishing the lashes can alter the curl and the perm. A lash lift should last between 6-8 weeks. Book your next one after a minimum of 6 weeks to maintain your lash health; any sooner and you risk over-processing the lashes. For the first 24 hours, do not wet them at all. This means no steam, shower, sauna, sad Netflix etc. Please also keep them away from heat. If they do get wet within that time, it will render the perm unsuccessful. Do not use waterproof mascara with your lash lift. Don’t rub your eyes. Don’t curl your lashes with a lash curler, as you can risk damaging your lashes and lash line. Try not to use serums or oils on the lashes/lids as it may dissolve the tint and the lift prematurely. We know, we know! All the rules! But we want the best results from your service and hey – nothing worth having comes easy!

Aftercare:
Mascara? Who needs it now that your lashes are as thick and full AF. But really, don’t use it as it isn’t good for your new set. You need to refrain from picking or pulling at your lashes, if there’s a funky feeling of being out of place, brush em! You will want to do that daily anyhow. You will want to wash and rinse your lashes daily, using cleansing brushes. Ask our gals and they can set you up with our fave cleanser if you don’t have the proper kind already! Steer clear of any makeup or creams with oils and when choosing eyeliner, find one that is water based or use a powder. Get some shut eye on your back as much as possible. You don’t want to damage your lashes by smushing them into the pillow. If you’re a rough sleeper, ask us about the silk pillowcases we carry so your lashes glide away instead of getting caught on cotton – and hey? They are better for your hair and skin too! Lifestyle will have a lot to do with how well your lashes will stay put (swimming, hot yoga, etc) So remember to book your fills within 2-3 weeks to keep them lush.
Pre/Post Care
Let us know if you have any product currently on your nails before arriving (ie: gels, acrylic, or shellac). Removal of these products takes a smidge longer, and we’d hate to see you miss out on a hand massage! Also, There’s a few things that will shorten the life of your mani:
1. Not wearing gloves when doing dishes or using cleaning products. Excessive contact with water can make the product lift, while solvents can dull the shine.
2. Using your nails as tools! Use scissors to open boxes, and credit cards to peel off stubborn stickers. Not your freshly manicured claws!
3. Picking. We get it, it’s hard to resist that urge. But remember, picking or peeling shellac off your nails weakens your nail bed. And the stronger your nail bed, the longer your mani will last!
Lastly, moisturize! With whatever your heart desires, although we’re slightly biased towards Winnipeg’s own “Lend Me Some Sugar - grapefruit lotion”. Strong, hydrated nails = 3+ weeks of pristine shellac manicures 👌🏻
Pre/Post Care
If you’ve broken any nails, don’t stress! But try and let us know ahead to ensure we have the time to repair them. 4 or more broken nails will be considered a full set.
Also, we love a good nail art Inspo pic. If you have something in mind for your nails, send it over! That way we can discuss pricing and timing, and make your nail art dreams happen, easy peasy.

Pre/Post Care
Keep us in the loop of any open cuts, blisters, etc so that we can take special care if needed. Ingrown toenails are a pain, so let us know if you are particularly prone. After your pedi, try and give yourself some time to allow your pedi to dry! We recommend 20+ minutes while enjoying some trashy magazines, guilt and judge free. Add a sangria and fromagerie board for a glorious afternoon.
Pre/Post Care
We would love for you to arrive for your facial makeup free. The less time we have to spend removing stubborn mascara or impressively long lasting concealer, the more time we have for the fun stuff. Try and keep a mental note of what you’ve been using, what works for you, and what has caused some irritation in the past. Every facial begins with a skin consult where we go over your concerns, current medications, contraindications, etc, but we especially want to know if you are currently using anything that contains retinol, AHA’s like salycilic or glycolic acid, BHA’s like lactic acid, or any other exfoliant such as a product with grit. (If you’re using apricot scrub on your precious skin, toss it now and we’ll explain how much damage it’s doing at your next appointment). After your facial, drink 👏🏻tons 👏🏻of 👏🏻water👏🏻. We can’t stress this enough. Facials are very detoxifying, and drinking water helps to flush out those toxins. Not drinking enough water post facial can sometimes lead to a headache. If possible, try to avoid touching your skin and applying makeup afterwards! The longer you can let your pores breath the better. We suggest giving your skin 12+ hours before wearing makeup again.
We ask that all ladies come with clean, dry hair parted where they want for their hair services and if you have curly hair and are wanting a sleek/smooth style please come with smoothed out hair. If you are getting your makeup done as well please come with clean, moisturized faces. Also please ensure there are ladies available for service(s) immediately at the start time and every 30 minutes to ensure timing is adequately used to meet required finish time. And lastly, we won’t have a debit machine so please make sure that the remaining balance is paid in cash to the artist(s) and any lash fees.
